What We Do
AIDS FAM provides meal for school children in India and Haiti through its nutrition program.
Education is the main component of AIDS FAM’s programs benefiting children and adults from communities in need.
AIDSFAM provided breakfast for over 200 children in poor villages in Guntur District, India through its nutrition program. These are children from families who cannot afford to provide nutritious meals, especially breakfast before going to school. Many of these children are from broken families, or are orphans living with relatives, in many cases as a result of AIDS causing loss of one or more parents.
AIDSFAM, through their Kennedy Community Development Society (KCDS) tutoring centers, is helping poor families send their children to school instead of having to work in the fields to help support the family. A good breakfast and pre-school tutoring promote good grades and better quality of life.
